Owner/ArtistMy name is Megan Placek and I have been a licensed Esthetician and makeup artist for over 10 years. I graduated from Von Lee International School of Esthetics in Maryland and live in Southern Pennsylvania with my husband and 3 children. Over the years I have been so fortunate and able to pursue my dream work in the beauty industry. Makeup is my medium in a field that I’m so passionate about. Even more, I love the wide array of people I get to work with. Regardless of the look my clients want to achieve, my personal goal is to have everyone who leaves my makeup chair feeling like their most beautiful, confident self. I’m always willing to offer advice or recommendations but I always want to hear about the look my clients are going for. Each person has their own unique style and I truly believe that every woman that sits in my chair is beautiful. My work only enhances that, focusing on bone structure and luminous skin. My work is very detail oriented and I tend to be a bit of a perfectionist. I’ve learned there is a delicate balance of makeup for flawless photos yet makeup has to be for real life, enhancing each person’s natural beauty to make you look amazing in person as well.
Megan did a wonderful job on my airbrush makeup! I went to a trial and she listened so intently to what I was hoping for and took notes to make sure that she got it right on the big day. I left feeling so confident and with one less stress on my wedding agenda. Thank you Megan for making me feel so confident on my wedding day and for perfectly capturing the look that I had hoped for! Megan was my makeup artist for my wedding! Not only is she super talented- she LOVES what she does! And that, my friends, makes all the difference in the world! She's super kind and down to earth! Megan was truly a rock star from start to finish. She and one other person she enlisted prepped 14 ladies for my wedding day...and they finished ahead of schedule. Everyone looked lovely. As the bride, I felt confident my makeup would stay for the whole day and night - which it did. I can't say enough good things about Megan.
